Principle #2 – Planning and Preparation

I was raised by the saying, “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” This is true of horses, most especially when they are young. Before starting the day’s training, have everything ready and be honest with yourself about if you can tackle the task at hand without an assistant.

Remember – Prior and Proper Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance!
